Established in 1979, Sistem Teknik specializes in the design and production of melting and heat treatment furnaces for the aluminium industry as well as autoclaves and curing ovens for carbon fibre composite materials. We are a among the top five global producers of furnace technology for the aluminium sector and one of Turkey’s greatest machinery exporters. In addition to design, production and commissioning, we offer after-sales technical services.
A significant participant of the Horizon2020 Platform, our R&D centre with over 55 engineers and designers who focus on making aluminium recycling more eco-friendly as well as expanding the use of composite materials with the implementation of novel technologies.

Sistem Teknik’s software and automation team designed and developed fully automated dross skimming robots. The operation mode can be fully automated, semi-automated, or manual, depending on the customer’s preferences. A camera is integrated into the robot to provide machine learning. The dross is skimmed by a telescopic lever which has been designed to maximize maneuverability and prevent refractory damage. The fully automated dross removal process shortens the time the furnace door is open and eliminates human intervention in the quality process.
