Kullan\u0131m amac\u0131na ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak end\u00fcstriyel f\u0131r\u0131nlar yap\u0131sal olarak birbirlerinden \u00e7ok farkl\u0131 tipte, b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fckte ve kapasitede olabilmektedir. Bu maksatla f\u0131r\u0131n tipinin belirlenmesinde, \u0131s\u0131l i\u015flem s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131na \u0131s\u0131t\u0131lacak malzemelerin \u0131s\u0131tma s\u00fcresi, malzeme geometrik yap\u0131s\u0131 ve kimyasal kompozisyonu, miktar\u0131, koruyucu atmosfer ihtiyac\u0131 ve ekonomik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ko\u015fullar\u0131 gibi parametreler g\u00f6z \u00f6n\u00fcnde bulundurulmaktad\u0131r. Enerjinin etkin bir \u015fekilde kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 kavram\u0131 d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ve elde edilen bulgular neticesinde \u00f6nemini g\u00fcn ge\u00e7tik\u00e7e art\u0131rmaktad\u0131r. Enerjinin etkin kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n bir g\u00f6stergesi olan enerji verimlili\u011fi ise kullan\u0131lan cihazlar\u0131n nicel olarak incelenmesinde temel yap\u0131ta\u015f\u0131 olu\u015fturmas\u0131 ile birlikte ayn\u0131 zamanda dolayl\u0131 olarak meydana gelen hava kirlili\u011fi, sera gaz\u0131 gibi fenomenlere de etki etmektedir. Uluslararas\u0131 enerji ajans\u0131n\u0131n yay\u0131nlam\u0131\u015f oldu\u011fu bildiride enerji \u00fcretimi kaynakl\u0131 CO2 emisyonunun 2005 y\u0131l\u0131na nazaran 2030 y\u0131l\u0131nda %49 artaca\u011f\u0131 tahmin edilmektedir. Bu kapsamda enerji verimlili\u011fi, enerji \u00fcretimine yapaca\u011f\u0131 olumlu katk\u0131lar neticesinde emisyonlar\u0131n kontrol alt\u0131nda tutulmas\u0131na da yard\u0131mc\u0131 olmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Uluslararas\u0131 iklim de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi paneli, sanayi \u00f6ncesi d\u00f6nemlere k\u0131yasla 2\u00b0C&#8217;nin alt\u0131nda k\u00fcresel \u0131s\u0131nma olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n %50&#8217;sini elde etmek i\u00e7in d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131ndaki sera gaz\u0131 emisyonlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemli \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde azalt\u0131lmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fine dikkat \u00e7ekmektedir. Bu durum ba\u015far\u0131labilirse, 2\u00b0C&#8217;lik \u0131s\u0131nman\u0131n neden oldu\u011fu iklim de\u011fi\u015fikliklerinin kabul edilebilir sosyal ve ekonomik maliyetlerle ele al\u0131nabilece\u011fine inan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bu ba\u011flamda, enerji talebini ve CO2 emisyonlar\u0131n\u0131 azaltarak \u00f6nerilen hedeflere ula\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131na yard\u0131mc\u0131 olabilecek enerji verimlili\u011fi \u00f6nlemlerinin belirlenmesi i\u00e7in enerji t\u00fcketen t\u00fcm sekt\u00f6rler de\u011ferlendirilmelidir. Bunu yapman\u0131n uygun bir yolu, ilgili sekt\u00f6rlerdeki s\u00fcre\u00e7leri de\u011ferlendirmek ve bu s\u00fcre\u00e7lerin enerji talebini azaltma olas\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 belirlemektir. Demir-\u00e7elik sekt\u00f6r\u00fc y\u0131ll\u0131k bazda takriben 24 EJ enerji t\u00fcketimi sebebiyle d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda en \u00e7ok enerji t\u00fcketen sekt\u00f6rlerden bir tanesi olmakla birlikte bahse konu olan t\u00fcketim de\u011feri d\u00fcnyada kay\u0131t alt\u0131na al\u0131nm\u0131\u015f olan enerji t\u00fcketiminin yakla\u015f\u0131k %5\u2019ine kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k gelmektedir. Sanayi sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde kullan\u0131lan yak\u0131tlar\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k %30&#8217;u f\u0131r\u0131nlar taraf\u0131ndan t\u00fcketilmektedir. Ayr\u0131ca end\u00fcstriyel elektrik ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131n %10&#8217;u f\u0131r\u0131nlarda kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. End\u00fcstriyel f\u0131r\u0131nlar ve f\u0131r\u0131nlar \u00fczerine yap\u0131lan akademik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar, sekt\u00f6re ve uygulamaya ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak verimlilik iyile\u015ftirme potansiyelinin %10 ila %40 aras\u0131nda oldu\u011fu sonucuna varm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. D\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda bu denli b\u00fcy\u00fck potansiyel bar\u0131nd\u0131ran sekt\u00f6rde verimlili\u011fi ve dolay\u0131s\u0131yla s\u00fcrd\u00fcrebilirli\u011fi art\u0131rma ve ye\u015fil mutabakat yolunda at\u0131lacak bir\u00e7ok ad\u0131m bulunmaktad\u0131r.
